In The Press

LA BOHÈME

“Baritones Ricardo López and Josué Cerón (Marcello and Schaunard, respectively), excellent singer-actors and, better still, possessed of beautiful voices which they handle with aplomb, have already begun brilliant careers in international theaters.” – Crítica Musical en México

MADAMA BUTTERFLY

“Also successful, vocally and dramatically, was the debut of the Mexican baritone Ricardo López as Pinkerton’s right-hand man Sharpless.” – Kölnische Rundschau

“Consul Sharpless was the Mexican baritone Ricardo López, one of a total of six (!) debuts that night. Puccini did not provide the baritone with great musical high points in this role. It is all the more remarkable, then, that López succeeded in creating quite a compassionate character, diplomatic and humane with Cio-cio-san and possessed of credible integrity.” – Der Neue Merkur

RIGOLETTO

“The Mexican baritone Ricardo López excelled as Rigoletto…” – Opernkritik
