In The Press

MARY POPPINS

“…the main cast for this production is superb, led by Renée Kathleen Koher’s excellent portrayal of Mary and Chris McNiff’s warm and direct portrayal of Mary’s chimney sweep friend Bert, who also serves as narrator. Koher has appeared in over 20 ABT shows, from ensemble parts to lead roles, and she is simply perfect in getting across the combination of strict, firm and slightly cross, yet also fun, well-meaning and ultimately loving Mary.” – Gil Benbrook, talkinbroadway.com

THE ADDAMS FAMILY

“Brad York and Renée Kathleen Koher are excellent in creating characters with shades of both poignancy and absurdity… Koher perfectly manages to get across the assured, sensual, sexual, and mysterious woman who starts to doubt her husband while pondering the issues that come with growing older. They both excel on their songs with Koher hoofing it up in a fun, vaudeville style in her solo, “Just Around the Corner…” – Gil Benbrook, talkinbroadway.com

“Topping the list of outstanding performances are those of Brad York and Renée Kathleen Koher whose chemistry as Gomez and Morticia is palpable and thoroughly engaging. Both are great singers and invest their characters with a singularity that allows you to put Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth out of mind… Koher is elegant and enchanting as the no-nonsense matriarch, playing her role with a wondrous mix of authority and sensuousness.” – Herbert Paine, broadwayworld.com

“Morticia (a sexy, deadpan Renee Kathleen Koher in her best ABT role)…” – David Appleford, Valley Screen and Stage

XANADU

“Julie Galorenzo and Renée Kathleen Koher are comic gold as Clio’s two scheming sisters. They both chew as much scenery as possible, get big laughs, and deliver soaring vocals, especially in their hilarious duet, “Evil Woman.” – Gil Benbrook, talkinbroadway.com

“For exhilarating moments of comic relief, the dynamic duo of Renée Kathleen Koher (Calliope) and Julie Galorenzo (Melpomene) blast Evil Woman and Strange Magic way beyond the theatre’s roof beams. Koher, who last appeared at ABT (and was terrific!) as Morticia in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, demonstrates her tremendous range and versatility in the role of a clearly twisted sister muse.” – Herbert Paine, broadwayworld.com
