In The Press

L’OCCASIONE FA IL LADRO

“Enrico Iviglia was comfortable in the smaller role of Don Eusebio and produced a polished performance.” – Alan Neilson, OperaWire

“Enrico Iviglia, who gives the right dignity to Don Eusebio, never loses his hand and focuses on a quite varied, accented song.” – Alessandro Cammarano, Le Salon Musical

“Enrico Iviglia (Don Eusebio) has a voice with beautiful timbre and elegant phrasing. He probably would have solved the role of Count Albert as well.” – Francesco Lodola, Ieri, Oggi, Domani, Opera!

“Enrico Iviglia is a convincing Don Eusebio.” – Marilisa Lazzari, Opera Click

ACHILLE IN SCIRO

“Enrico Iviglia also possesses remarkable technique, and his interpretation of Licomede is sensitive and noble.” – Dario Ascoli, Corriere della Sera

“Bravo to Licomede [tenor Enrico Iviglia], in his vocal premiere.” – Bruno Tredicine, Opera Click

OTELLO (ROSSINI)

“Bravo to the solid Gondolier of Enrico Iviglia, who savors every word and phrase of his short lines slowly and with true aristocracy.” – Carla Moreni, Il sole 24 ore

“Enrico Iviglia, the Gondolier, sang his short, intense final aria on Dante’s verses to great effect.” – Donatella Longobardi, Il Mattino

“Enrico Iviglia, in the double role of Lucio and the Gondolier, was in both cases a top notch comprimario.” – Christophe Rizoud, Forum Opéra

“Enrico Iviglia (as the Gondolier and Lucio) provided an invaluable contribution.” – Lucio Tufano, Teatro.it

LE COMPTE ORY

“In the title role Enrico Iviglia, who tosses off high C’s effortlessly, delivers breathtaking coloratura and brilliant fioritura.” – Silvia Rietz, Schweiz am Sonntag

IL TURCO IN ITALIA

“Enrico Iviglia (Albazar), in the height of the role, and in particular in the second act, expresses his character with magnificent theatrical verve, especially in the aria “Ah, sarebbe troppo dolce.” – Annunziato Gentiluomo, ArtInMovimento Magazine

“The Alcazar of tenor Enrico Iviglia stood out, particularly in the apocryphal “aria di sorbetto” (the opera, with the exception of a few lines of recitative, was performed in its complete form), which was presented with a pleasing leggero voice, and cleverly transformed by the staging into a cabaret moment that isn’t obvious from the score.” – Marco Leo, GBOpera Magazine

BETLY

“True, the tenor Enrico Iviglia has already established a career and has been heard several times on the stage of La Scala as well as in recital with members of the Academy. Still, his presentation, which was very solid vocally and a vivid portrayal of Daniele’s derision, is no less than heroic considering he was called in at the last minute to replace a colleague. The opera is not long, of course, but the fact that it contains a lot of spoken dialogue, where the performer doesn’t have the advantage of the music to aid in memory, gives credence to this artist’s ability and professionalism (even in the face of staging difficulties – when his sword, once removed, refused to go back in its sheath!).” – Rivista L’Opera Merli

“Enrico Iviglia’s performance of Daniele was very good, his vocal delivery pliant and well-phrased. His graceful leggero tenor touches the falsetto and integrates it with stylistic integrity into the musical context.” – Emanuele Dominioni, L’Ape Musicale

LA SCALA DI SETA

“…the fully convincing leggero tenor Enrico Iviglia (Dorvil), has a beautiful timbre and agility well suited to Rossini roles; he has a repertoire that includes works such as “Il viaggio a Reims”, “L’italiana in Algeri”, “Il Turco in Italia” and “Il barbiere di Siviglia.” – Luca Foddai

L’OCCASIONE FA IL LADRO

“The tenor Enrico Iviglia (Don Eusebio) is another promising young man: his acting as elegant as his figure, the voice agile and brilliant, secure in the high register, and clean in the release.” – Roberto Calogiuri, Il Friuli Venezia Giulia
